Students will explore the historical origins and contemporary realities of urban life in the region through research and travel in five cities that capture Latin America's cultural diversity.

Taught by Barnard History professor Jose Moya, the program is open for course credit to rising juniors and seniors in all Columbia/Barnard undergraduate schools. Generous financial aid is available. Applications due in early December 2016.
